TGV Cinemas Giant Balloon Launch for Hero-Con '26

TGV Cinemas needed a centrepiece for the launch of Hero-Con '26: Spider-Man Edition at its Pavilion Damansara Heights outlet, marking the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day — something big enough to anchor a stage packed with lion dance troupes and a full cast of costumed performers. We supplied a giant balloon launching gimmick: a red sphere printed with the TGV Cinemas name and handle, rigged above the stage as the ceremony's focal point.

The balloon is fabricated in PVC with full-colour digital print, so the TGV Cinemas branding stays crisp and legible from the floor below. At the base, a tethered banner carried the Hero-Con '26 and Spider-Man artwork, keeping the balloon visually tied to the event rather than standing alone.

On the day, a crowd of guests turned their phones toward it during the ceremony — lion dance troupes performing either side of the stage, a lineup of Spider-Man-costumed performers below it, and company officials looking on. It's the kind of centrepiece a launch of this scale calls for: large enough to read across the room, simple enough to rig cleanly above a crowded stage.
