What is an inflatable arch?

An inflatable arch is an air-filled archway used to mark the entrance, start line, or finish line of an event. It is kept rigid by a continuous-airflow blower and printed with full-colour branding on every visible panel, making it a fast, reusable alternative to a built gantry or scaffold structure.

In Malaysia, inflatable arches are the standard entrance solution for road races, grand openings, roadshows, and brand activations. AsiaPacific Balloons has manufactured custom arches in-house since 1995 in standard rectangular, round-top, and custom shapes, all with full-colour digital printing.

What size inflatable arch should you choose?

Size depends on your route or entrance width, the clearance height you need, and how prominent the arch should appear in photos and video. These are the widths we commonly produce:

33 ft / 10 m wide (road spanning)

Material and build quality

Our inflatable arches are constructed from heavy-duty PVC with industrial-grade air blowers for rapid inflation. A standard arch can be erected by two people in under 15 minutes, and every order includes the blower and a carry bag. With proper deflation, folding, and storage, an arch can be reused across many events — care guidance is supplied with every order.

Setup and anchoring

Most inflatable arches run on a continuous-airflow blower that maintains internal pressure throughout the event; the blower sits quietly alongside the arch. Anchoring is planned around your venue surface, wind exposure, and crowd flow — using sandbags, staking, or frame anchoring as the site requires. Arches can also be used indoors where there is sufficient ceiling height and safe clearance above the arch.
