Lighted Giant Helium Balloon for Petaling Jaya 20th Anniversary

For the Festival Ulang Tahun Bandar Raya Petaling Jaya ke-20, MBPJ needed a launch marker that would read from across the grounds and pull the eye upward over the event site at PJ Smart Centre. The brief was straightforward: maximum altitude, maximum visibility, and the festival's anniversary identity carried clean and legible from the ground. We supplied a lighted giant helium balloon built from durable PVC with the artwork printed in full colour across the sphere — the "20" anniversary mark, the Bandar Raya Petaling Jaya 2006–2026 lockup and the MBPJ crest. Internal lighting kept the print readable after dark, so the balloon worked as a daytime landmark and a glowing night-time beacon from the same rigging. The balloon was tethered on a single line and anchored at ground level, letting it ride well above the surrounding buildings. On site it held altitude through the day and into the evening, flying clear above PJ Smart Centre as a fixed reference point for visitors arriving at the festival. For a city-scale celebration, a single high-flying balloon does a lot of quiet work — it tells everyone, from a distance, exactly where the event is.
