5 Giant Helium Advertising Balloons at Kota Baca, Dataran Merdeka KL

Kota Baca returned to Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur with a crowd target in the tens of thousands, and the organisers needed something that read from across the historic square. With festival tents spread the length of the field and the city skyline behind, ground signage alone wouldn't carry. They came to us for sky presence. We built five giant helium advertising balloons, each in full-colour digital print on PVC, finished in bright primary tones — red, yellow, blue — to stand out against the open sky and the surrounding towers. Helium-filled and tethered, the balloons carried the Kota Baca event branding at height, where it could be seen from a distance rather than competing at eye level. On site, the spread of balloons across the square gave the festival a clear marker visible from blocks away. Tethered units like these hold position through the day and pack down cleanly afterward — a simple, high-visibility way to lift an event above a busy ground-level crowd.
